Ensuring control of our production commences with the tool room. It is in here that our CAD function is centred and from which originate our drawings. These are the foundation for tooling design and manufacture.
This facility is interfaced with the fast hole drilling and wire erosion machinery.
This enables us to cut complex geometries with tight tolerances and fine surfaces in various metals to suit the extrusion requirement and production conditions.
All aspects of our tooling, from design through manufacture to assembly and maintenance are entirely carried out in house by our toolmakers.
Whether a simple plate die or a fully blended die with vacuum calibration and downstream ancilliary tooling, all are designed and constructed to suit the individual characteristics required of the profile.
Close liaison is maintained between the tool room and the sales office to ensure simplicity and effectiveness in communications with the customer.
